Affirmation of the Week

Posted on: July 1, 2009

I always love to share snippets of information that may enlighten, motivate or inspire others. I was reading my local newspaper and found the following daily affirmation excerpt and of course I had to share it with you. I do daily affirmations myself and believe wholeheartedly that by going through the process of daily affirmations that you will eventually believe, live and breathe what you are saying. Here is an affirmation to try that will add thankfulness to your life.

“What is thankfulness? Thankfulness is being grateful for what we have. It is an attitude of gratitude for learning. loving and being. appreciate the little things that happen around you and within you everyday. Think positively. Thankfulness brings contentment.

You are practicing thankfulness when you:
-Are thankful for the gifts of life
-Appreciate your own abilities
-See the difficulties of life as opportunities to learn
-Enjoy your sense of wonder about the beauty in the world
-Count your blessings every day.

I am thankful for the many gifts within me and round me today.
I appreciate my life.
I look for the lessons.
I expect the best.”
